Hey all! Thank you to those who have reached out to check on us! Yes, we did have more severe weather again night before last. Honestly, I’ve lost track of how many rounds of watches and warnings we’ve had in the past two weeks but this is the 2nd tornado we’ve had actually touchdown in our little area within that same timeframe and unfortunately, this time it was a direct hit…we were in a tornado.
The good news is, unlike our neighbors our houses, outbuildings, and vehicles were not damaged but we lost 4 trees, our road is blocked by downed trees and power lines, and we will be out of electricity and internet for the foreseeable future.
As soon as we get back up and running, and delivery trucks are able to get to us again, I will get any outstanding orders sent out ASAP.
We are a little tired but are feeling very blessed and thankful there was no loss of life. If you think of it please lift up a prayer for the utility guys who have been working nonstop on the overwhelming task of clearing downed trees, lines, and poles so we can all get back up and running. More bad weather has been predicted for this afternoon so we would appreciate a kind thought as we prepare to batten down the hatches once again!
