Brrr! It’s been a snowy, icy wonderland here in Southwest Missouri. If you’ve been hunkered down like we have, you’ll know there’s nothing better than leaning into the cozy vibes of winter. With our driveway resembling a skating rink and more snow on the way, we’ve taken snow days as a great excuse to hibernate. The Christmas tree and village are still up, twinkling away, keeping the dreariness at bay just a little longer. Have you taken your decorations down yet?
While the snow has been falling, Mom's been busy warming up the house with baking—Snickerdoodles, to be exact! These cinnamon-sugar delights are my absolute favorite cookie and pair perfectly with a hot cup of tea or coffee. You’ll find my go-to recipe below to sweeten up your snow days.
Speaking of cozy activities, this week’s Designer Spotlight is It’s Sew Emma! Their beautifully designed patterns offer a delightful range of projects for stitchers of all levels. Whether you’re hibernating like us or just looking for your next creative adventure, now is the perfect time to stock up because all It’s Sew Emma products are 20% off this week! These designs are a wonderful blend of charm and inspiration, perfect for snowy-day stitching.
Stay safe and warm out there, friends. And don’t forget to whip up a batch of Snickerdoodles—you’ll thank me later!
