Over the past couple of weeks, Crossed Hearts has been a little quieter than usual—and I wanted to take a moment to share why.
My mom was recently hospitalized with congestive heart failure, and as you can imagine, everything came to a sudden stop while we focused on her care. It was an unexpected and difficult time, but I’m so grateful to say that she is now home and doing well.
This season looks a little different for us right now. As she continues her recovery, I’m helping with appointments, adjusting to new routines, and learning a few new things myself—like cooking from scratch in a whole new way! It’s been an adjustment, but one I’m thankful to be able to make.
Through it all, I have been so touched by the kindness, prayers, and patience so many of you have shown. Your support truly means more than I can put into words.
Crossed Hearts is open and running again, though at a slightly slower pace for the time being. Orders are being processed, and I’m working my way steadily back into the rhythm of things.
Thank you for being here—for your understanding, your encouragement, and for supporting this little business in such a meaningful way.
