Stitch Floral Nostalgia, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — pink roses, blue hydrangeas, lavender and daisies fill a painted china jug beside a matching teacup and saucer, with a rose and a butterfly on the table.
A little stitcher's folklore: a jug of garden flowers on the tea table was said to keep friendships blooming.
Why this kit: a nostalgic, cottage-style still life from the Gold Collection with 57 colours, on Aida with a printed grid.
Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 57 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a black-and-white symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.
Work one chart page at a time, starting with the roses and hydrangeas, then the china jug and teacup, and finally the wildflowers and background.
Finished size: 32×36 cm (12.6×14.2 in). A charming still life for the dining room and a lovely gift for tea and flower lovers.
